Definition of Asphalt Tank
Asphalt Tank is part of the AMP (Asphalt Mixing Plant) in the form of a tank that functions to store/hold hot liquid asphalt from an Asphalt Kettle or Bulk Asphalt Truck. Inside the Asphalt Tank there is a Heating Pipe which is supplied with hot oil from the Hot Oil Heater. The heat from the Heating Pipe is what makes the temperature of the hot liquid asphalt in the Asphalt Tank stable. The outside of the Asphalt Tank is coated with Glasswool / Rockwool which functions as an insulator.
Hot liquid asphalt from the Asphalt Tank is pumped to the Asphalt Weighing Scale in the Main Frame using the Asphalt Supply Pump.
